How Build Advisory Co handles your personal information.
What I collect
When you make an enquiry, I collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, project or property address, which service you're enquiring about, and a description of your project or property.
If you go on to engage me, I collect what the service needs: for a document review, the documents you send me; for a building inspection, the property details and the findings recorded on site.
This website takes no payments and accepts no file uploads. There is no checkout and no card form anywhere on it. If you engage me, scope and price are agreed with you directly and invoiced separately, and no card details are ever entered on this site.
How I use it
Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, provide the service you've engaged, and communicate with you about that engagement. It is not used for any other purpose without asking you first.
Who I share it with
I use a small number of external services to run this business, each only sees what it needs to do its job:

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone else outside of delivering your service.
Storage and security
Your documents and details are stored in a private, access controlled Google Drive workspace. Reasonable steps are taken to keep your information secure, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access and correction
You can ask to see what personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, at any time via the contact page.
Retention
I keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet my legal and accounting obligations. Specific retention periods are still being finalised.
